David May, M.A., AMFT, is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 130389) registered to the California Board of Behavioral Sciences providing individual, couple, and family psychotherapy under the supervision of Leor Ram, LMFT (115538), LPCC (7354), NCC, CGP at Integrative Psychotherapy Group. David completed his undergraduate education at Pepperdine University before receiving his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University with a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. He worked in community mental health at Counseling West in Sherman Oaks and has also taken on a position as a Resource Associate with Teen Line at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

David’s relational approach aims to incorporate both the conscious and unconscious elements of the therapeutic relationship to bring about change. He will help you address a variety of concerns including relational challenges, anxiety, depression, codependency, anger, religious trauma, identity struggles, sexual intimacy, grief, and the philosophical questions of finding meaning in life. He has helped individuals and couples restore fractured relationships, find relief from antagonizing symptoms, and reconnect with their authentic, essential Self. David is LGBTQ+ affirming and works with people from all cultures, faiths, orientations, and backgrounds.
